Biometric System of Fingerprint Authentication

Module 1: Biometric Login

The main function of the system - Simplified web-application logon using a fingerprint without any login or password. For successful system functioning a database of registered users and the corresponding fingerprints is needed. For successful operation of the system there is a function of new users registration with the corresponding fingerprints recording (i.e. user identification record creation).
Biometric authentication system can be used along with the usual procedure of application logon using login and password.

Module 2: "Passport" System of Biometric Fingerprint Authentication

The "Passport" system is installed on the Internet-server and permits the registered customers and users to perform online biometric authentication without biometric authentication software installation on the customer server.
The given system is especially convenient for small and medium business and requires minimal technical efforts on the part of the customer. As far as users registration and authentiation takes place on the "passport" Internet-server, the customer needs only to add to the logon page a reference to the page of biometric authentication on the "passport" Inernet-server, and add to the page of users registration а reference to the biometric registration on the "passport" server.

Module 3: The "Safe" system of Biometric Encoding of Data with a Fingeprint

Sometimes Internet users need to store their personal confidential information online so that could get access to it from any point of the network without risk of data stealing or breaking. The "Safe" system gives this opportunity to the world network users by means of biometric encoding of the information stored in the "safe". To get access to the information one needs a key (i.e. its decoding) based on the biometric data of the owner of the stored information. Data security is ensured with encoding: in case of the "safe" crack access to the data will be impossible without the key, i.e. biometric parametres of its owner.
The "Safe" system use is possible on the license fee basis of registered users or on the basis of receipts from commercials located on the server.

Precedence Rule:

1. Install distributive (it is installed by default in С:/Program Files)
2. Run BiometricProgramGUI.exe program lable
3. The SBS program menu appears with the red line "User does not exist". It means that the user of the given computer is not correlated with the fingerprint database.
4. For correlation - menu button Update

5. "Log On" window appears with a fingerprint pattern and a login entry form (already prescribed) - password (necessary to remember)
6. For a "password" we enter the password we use for MS Windows logon and press button "Login"
7. "Enrol Menu" windows appears, offering to place one and the same finger three times (for a more accurate digitizing of the image) and press ОК to store the fingerprint image

8. In the main SBS menu the red line is changed for a blue one with the words "User data exists"
9. Open Internet Explorer, visit the site where registration is needed using a login and password.

10. The SBS catches the inquiry and the "SBS Passport" window appears with the question "Do you wish to store the given website in your SBS Passport?"
11. Then every time when you visit the site the SBS will offer to place a finger to the scanner or enter the login, in both cases the SBS will add the necessary login and password to the mail to open the access.
12. The program permits to add an unlimitd number of sites where logon is necessary
13. The Remove User function permits to delete a fingerprint image from the program database
