The program consists of three parts.
The first part goes together with the second or the thir part.

Part 1 of the program is installed on the ussuer server and performs encoding of the plastic card holder data.
Part 2 of the program is installed on the local PC of the acquirer where decoding of the payment data occurs. (?)
Part 3 of the program is installed on the remote server of payment processing for decoding of payment data of the purchaser.

Biometric data of the card owner is used for encoding. It is transformed into 128-bite key (used for encoding). Any methods and types of encoding can be used.

Biometric Authentication System at the Moment of Payment via Plasric Card The main function of the system is financial information reading from the plastic card or SmartCard of the payer and its transmission to the payment processing server.

There are two possible operating modes of the system:
1) For backward compatibility with the existing payment systems (credit card processing, merchant systems) encoded financial data read from the payer's card is subjected to local decoding with the key obtained from the fingerprint of the card owner. The decoded data (number, type, period of validity, name and address of the payer are transmitted over a secure canal (i.e. SSL) to the payment processing server to finish the procedure of transaction.
2) For security strengthening the encoded financial data read from the payer card is transmitted in an encoded form to the payment processing server; this transmission can be performed either over an open channel or a secure one (i.e. SSL). Then the biometric information of the payer (i.e. the encoding key obtained from the fingerprint) goes to the payment processing sever over a secure channel (e.g. SSL). Financial information decoding with the biometric key occurs on the payment processing server; in case of successful decoding the payment procedure is finished. The payer account is debited. Confirmation goes back to the the seller's terminal. The system is designed for personal computers; recording and reading of the plastic card informatiom is performed with the help of the existing peripheral hardware (e.g. www.Cardwerk.com) for operations with plastic cards of SmartCard type. Use of the system is possible on license fee basis or single purchase.

Software Components:
1) A module of information reading / recording onto SmartCard, adaptation to the existing interface or SDK of peripheral hardware suppliers.
2) A module of integration into a fingerprint scanner.
3) A module of data encoding / decoding.
4) Client program for SmartCard reading, fingerprint scanning, encoded data and the key transmission or decoded data transmission over a safe channel (HTTP SSL) to the payment processing server.
5) A module of integration into the Google Checkout system.
6) A module of integration into the PayPal Virtual Terminal system.
7) A server module (web service) for receiving and decoding of payment data, assigned for further integration with the outer payment system.
